SneakerCrush: Vac Tech Dunks

Now while I know you’re looking at them and noting the blatant Timberland reproduction, these Dunks look like they carry a lot less weight and I quite frankly like these and would buy these for The Boy.

The detail on the shoe is nice, and with some surface protector, these kicks look like they could last the distance. Anyway, decide for yourself.

Also available in Air Force and Air Max 90’s.

SneakerCrush: Nike Air Force 1 Vac Tech “Grey Wool”

Following the release of the Vac Techs in cream, Nike have the grey wool for the winter market in both highs and lows.

They do remind me of carpet (lol) but they’re different and I kinda like love them just a little lot.

Size 5.5 UK please and thank you!

SneakerCrush: Jordan B2B

No talkingus maximus, I am digging these in the blue colourway (although those laces would get dash ‘way and replaced to match the stitching.) **edit: I quite like the orange/grey kicks now too *bites fist* eek! **

Size 5 UK please …

ShoeCrush: Whirl

The first reaction to the photo was ecstasy … pure unadulterated ecstasy. Not gonna lie. ‘Whirl’ by Dune are simply amazing ans should be filed under ‘shoe porn.’ The high shine sparkles on these bad boys are stunning. The red version of these pretty much are the ‘face’ of this blog and if you love me enough you would find a way to get me a pair of these in red and gold I’d see fit they would be well loved and cherished.

Size 5 pretty please … x

ShoeCrush: Warwick Boot

I was out with a friend last week who was looking for a pair of low heeled boots for work and we came across these ‘Warwick’ boots by L K Bennett which I have to say looked really good on her, they can go from work to after hours drinks with ease, can be teamed with  bootcut jeans, pencil skirts or skinny jeans. Very versatile and they come in black, leopard and snake print.

gallery1950/Converse collaboration

Dunno whether it’s the inner b-girl dying to break out or I’m still stuck in my 80’s childhood, but I LOVE Converse! Probably the only name brand kicks I had as a kid with three other siblings in my household coming up, I absolutely adored my red pair and even now  I smile when I see them.

So I was really happy to see that Converse have teamed up with Japanese interior designers gallery1950 to collaborate on some pretty nice looking kicks. While they’re not as extravagant as some of the colourways coming out of the Nike camp every day, these are pretty special. I expect these to fly off the shelves.

Expected release: January 2012

SneakerCrush: Stefan Janoski Mid SB

There are days when I wish I was a guy. Not for anything other than the trainer thing I should quickly add.

This is one of those days. I LOVE these mid SB’s by Stefan Janoski … They’re versatile enough to work with the skate shorts and tee in the day and teamed with smart jeans and a casual shirt for a drink with friends in the evening. Serious sneaker envy right now. I really dig the reed/stone colorway (pictured) and the tartan lining is kinda sexy. The Black/Metallic Gold are also hella dope. Would you skaters rock these though? Maybe I should ask Bruce Wayne and find out ….

I love the official site too, I spent the best part of Thursday afternoon milling around on there, check it out!
